Cet<br \/>\narticle relit ces \u0153uvres avec les outils CAP M\u00e9tissage : tenir la<br \/>\nlucidit\u00e9 des ruptures sans renier la richesse des h\u00e9ritages.<\/p>\n<h2>Introduction<\/h2>\n<p>Quand A\u00efssatou raconte la premi\u00e8re fois qu&rsquo;elle a lu <em>Pluie et vent sur<br \/>\nT\u00e9lum\u00e9e Miracle<\/em>, elle dit que la voix de T\u00e9lum\u00e9e a desserr\u00e9 quelque<br \/>\nchose en elle. \u00c9tudiante en lettres \u00e0 Angers, fille d&rsquo;un p\u00e8re s\u00e9n\u00e9galais<br \/>\net d&rsquo;une m\u00e8re vend\u00e9enne, elle cherchait depuis longtemps une langue qui<br \/>\nne lui demande pas de choisir un c\u00f4t\u00e9. Ce besoin, des autrices<br \/>\nfrancophones le portent depuis des d\u00e9cennies. Romans francophones de la<br \/>\npluralit\u00e9 : cet article relit Maryse Cond\u00e9, Simone Schwarz-Bart, Ananda<br \/>\nDevi et Nathacha Appanah pour comprendre comment leur \u00e9criture fait<br \/>\nvoir, depuis l&rsquo;intime, ce que les statistiques peinent \u00e0 dire.<\/p>\n<h2>Maryse Cond\u00e9 : \u00e9crire pour ne pas \u00eatre traduite<\/h2>\n<p>Maryse Cond\u00e9, n\u00e9e \u00e0 Pointe-\u00e0-Pitre en 1934 et disparue le 2 avril 2024,<br \/>\na refus\u00e9 toute sa vie le r\u00f4le d&rsquo;\u00e9crivaine antillaise commentatrice de<br \/>\nl&rsquo;Antillanit\u00e9. Dans <em>La vie sans fards<\/em> (JC Latt\u00e8s, 2012), elle raconte<br \/>\nses ann\u00e9es en C\u00f4te d&rsquo;Ivoire, en Guin\u00e9e et au Ghana sans lisser les<br \/>\ncontradictions. Le mariage qui tient mal, l&rsquo;exil africain qui ne<br \/>\nressemble pas aux r\u00e9cits attendus, le retour aux Antilles qui n&rsquo;est pas<br \/>\nun retour.<\/p>\n<p>Ce que Cond\u00e9 travaille, c&rsquo;est la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9crire la pluralit\u00e9 sans<br \/>\nqu&rsquo;on lui demande de la traduire pour le lecteur m\u00e9tropolitain. Dans<br \/>\nses entretiens, repris notamment par France Culture en 2024, elle<br \/>\nrevendique \u00ab le droit de raconter sans expliquer \u00bb. Quand on lit <em>Moi,<br \/>\nTituba sorci\u00e8re<\/em> ou <em>Travers\u00e9e de la mangrove<\/em>, on sent que la voix<br \/>\nn&rsquo;attend personne. Elle parle depuis un endroit qui assume sa propre<br \/>\ndensit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h2>Simone Schwarz-Bart : la langue de T\u00e9lum\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p><em>Pluie et vent sur T\u00e9lum\u00e9e Miracle<\/em> para\u00eet au Seuil en 1972. Simone<br \/>\nSchwarz-Bart, n\u00e9e en Guadeloupe en 1938, y donne la parole \u00e0 une femme<br \/>\nn\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 1900 \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de l&rsquo;\u00eele. La phrase int\u00e8gre le<br \/>\ncr\u00e9ole sans en faire un effet de couleur. Elle plie le fran\u00e7ais pour<br \/>\nqu&rsquo;il porte les images d&rsquo;une langue qui n&rsquo;est pas la sienne d&rsquo;origine.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00efssatou en parle comme d&rsquo;une r\u00e9v\u00e9lation. \u00c0 l&rsquo;atelier lecture que<br \/>\nl&rsquo;antenne CAP M\u00e9tissage d&rsquo;Angers a tenu un samedi de mars 2026, elle<br \/>\nlit \u00e0 voix haute le passage o\u00f9 T\u00e9lum\u00e9e apprend \u00e0 se tenir droite \u00ab comme<br \/>\nun nuage qui n&rsquo;a peur de rien \u00bb. Plusieurs participantes notent que la<br \/>\nphrase ne demande pas d&rsquo;\u00eatre d\u00e9chiffr\u00e9e, elle est d\u00e9j\u00e0 claire. Ce que<br \/>\nSchwarz-Bart construit, c&rsquo;est une langue qui accueille la pluralit\u00e9<br \/>\nsans la trahir.<\/p>\n<h2>Ananda Devi et Nathacha Appanah : l&rsquo;archipel comme m\u00e9thode<\/h2>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00eele Maurice a produit deux voix majeures de la litt\u00e9rature<br \/>\nfrancophone contemporaine. Ananda Devi, n\u00e9e \u00e0 Trois-Boutiques en 1957,<br \/>\npublie <em>\u00c8ve de ses d\u00e9combres<\/em> chez Gallimard en 2006. Le roman suit<br \/>\nquatre adolescents de Troumaron, quartier paup\u00e9ris\u00e9 de Port-Louis, \u00e0<br \/>\ntravers une polyphonie serr\u00e9e. La langue m\u00eale le fran\u00e7ais savant, le<br \/>\ncr\u00e9ole mauricien et l&rsquo;\u00e9cho du hindi familial.<\/p>\n<p>Nathacha Appanah, n\u00e9e en 1973 \u00e0 Mah\u00e9bourg, publie <em>Tropique de la<br \/>\nviolence<\/em> chez Gallimard en 2016. Le roman se d\u00e9place vers Mayotte et<br \/>\nses adolescents abandonn\u00e9s. Prix Femina des lyc\u00e9ens, s\u00e9lection<br \/>\nGoncourt, le texte fait entendre des voix que la presse hexagonale<br \/>\npeine \u00e0 porter. Devi et Appanah partagent une m\u00e9thode : l&rsquo;archipel<br \/>\ncomme mani\u00e8re de penser.
